Salman Khan’s Sultan’s day 8 box office collection: Can it be the biggest hit ever?

MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Sultan became the fastest movie ever to bring in Rs 200 crore, beating the records of Salman Khan’s own Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma film exceeded Aamir Khan’s two films — PK and Dhoom 3 more records will soon fall through.

Business analyst Taran Adarsh said the film has “iron grip” at the box office. Even the weekday’s business of Sultan is exemplary and it is likely to earn over Rs 235 crore in the first week.

On Tuesday, the Yash Raj banner Film had already earned Rs 208.8 crore. And it is going from strength to strength.

Aamir Khan accepts the most impeccable record at the box office, his film PK is the biggest box office earner and he has three films in Rs 200 crore club. Perhaps, with Dangal, he will receive a third entrant here too.

However, Salman now has two flicks in the Rs 300 crore club Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Sultan. The great question now is whether Sultan can topple PK’s record and get the largest earner of all times.
