Convoy of Balochistan's Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti under attack in Sui

QUETTA (Web Desk) - The convoy of Balochistan's Home Minister Sarfraz Bugti came under attack by miscreants in the Sui area of Dera Bugti district on Monday.

However, the provincial minister remained unhurt, official sources said.

The miscreants fled the scene after the security agencies opened fire in retaliation.

Mr Bugti was on his way to Dera Bugti and was passing through the area of Sui, when the attackers intercepted his convoy.

On August 16, 2015, Punjab Home Minister Col (r) Shuja Khanzada, along with twenty others, was killed in a suicide attack at his political office in Shadi Khan near Attock.

The intense explosion caused a roof collapse of the building and shattered windows in nearby houses.
