Mushahidullah clarifies his statement over former DG ISI

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz PML-N Mushahidullah Khan has clarified his controversial statement regarding former DG ISI.

In his clarification to private TV channel, Mushahidullah Khan denied such statements saying that he never said things in this manner.

“I just said in interview that such rumors are circulating, I never said it on official level.” Senator said.

He said BBC manipulated and angled my words in such a way.

Mushahidullah Khan further said that no one has asked him for clarification, and he was summoned, he would repeat the same.

Earlier, BBC quoted Mushahidullah Khan saying that former DG ISI Retd. General Zahir ul Islam wanted to de-stable PML-N’s government.

The interview when published and broadcast, had caused a stir in political scenario of the country on the occasion of Independence Day.
