KARACHI (Online) – Russian Navy ship Kulakov with embarked helicopter arrived at Karachi Port Friday and was received by senior officials of Pakistan Navy and Russian Defence attaché in Pakistan.
During the visit, call by ship’s Commanding Officer on senior PN officers to discuss matters relating to mutual interests, exchange visits by naval personnel and friendly sports activities are planned. Ship will also participate in Joint Counter Narcotics Exercise “Arabian Monsoon- 2015”at North Arabian Sea.
Visit by Russian Naval Ship is in line with Government policies and besides promoting peace and security in the region will also help in enhancing maritime collaboration between the two countries.
