Pakistani woman arrested in Saudi Arabia as police carry out raids across Jeddah
JEDDAH - A Pakistani woman was arrested as Saudi police raided terrorist hideouts in Jeddah, here on Saturday.

According to reports, the Pakistani woman was identified as Fatima. The police reportedly confiscated an unfinished bomb from her residence, and arrested a Saudi man named Hossam bin Saleh bin Simran Juhani.

The security spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, Maj-Gen Mansour Al-Turki, said the hideout at Al-Harazat was used as a lab for making explosive belts and bombs and claimed the Pakistani women, Fatma Ramadan Balushi Ali Marada, was the wife of Saudi man Hossam.

In another operation, two extremists were killed as Saudi police raided hideouts of terrorists in Jeddah while a bomb factory also exploded, according to Saudi Interior Ministry.

The ministry on Saturday confirmed that the two dead were using a rented accommodation in the city to manufacture bombs and explosive belts.

The two terrorists blew themselves up after failing to escape as captured in the following video.

Saturday's raids were part of ongoing counter-terrorism operations by the Saudi regime. Ever since the Islamic State (IS) militant group emerged as a force in 2014, Saudi Arabia has arrested 566 terrorists who reportedly formed eight sleeping cells, including six women.

The country also arrested five explosive experts, according to a report published on Saturday on Okaz local newspaper.
