Aer Lingus Flight 712
In 1968,61 passengers and crew on Aer Lingus 712 died while flying from Cork to London. An investigation into the crash revealed that an experimental British missile caused the devastation however this cause was dispelled later

TWA Flight 800

Flying Tiger Flight 739
In 1962, the US military chartered Flying Tiger Flight 739 disappeared over the Philippine Sea after refuelling in Guam. There was no distress call, and the weather was sunny—it seemed the aircraft simply disappeared.Al 107 commuters died in the incident.
No remains of the flight weakened the investigative process and so no solid reason was identified of the disaster.
Pan AM Flight 7
The Flight 7 provided one of the luxurious air travel back in 1957 but on a route from California to huawei it got disappeared without leaving any trace.
Investigations raised eye brows of officials as it was suspected to be a case of insurance fraud or revenge.
USAir Flight 427
The 132 people who boarded USAir Flight 427 were expecting a short trip from Chicago to Pittsburgh. Sadly, within 10 minutes of their destination, the plane malfunctioned and dashed to the ground at a speed approaching 500 kilometers per hour. It was one of the deadliest crashes in US history.
Investigations that longed for four years found a defect in the rudder caused the pilots to lose control.
Many of the victims’ families sued USAir Inc. and the Boeing Co. The two companies opted to settle out of court for nearly $50 million.
EgyptAir Flight 990
EgyptAir Flight 990 plunged into the Atlantic Ocean On Halloween Day of 1999,—killing all 217 aboard. The Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority (ECAA) investigated the crash along with american NTSB and both came to two different conclusions. The US determined that the copilot was suicidal and deliberately took down the plane. The Egyptians chalked the incident up to mechanical failures.some led to believe that it was a conspiracy against 33 members of the Egyptian General Staff who were on board.
The final exchanges on the flight’s voice recorder give us a pretty good idea. The pilot was recorded saying, “What is this? What is this? Did you shut the engines?” Meanwhile, the copilot was repeating, “I rely on God.”
United Airlines Flight 585
Similar to Flight 427, Flight 585 was the probable result of a malfunctioned rudder power control unit. The crash was shocking due to the history of the flight crew. Experienced pilots couldn’t resist the disaster that took 25 crew and passengers in 1991.

The five Navy Avenger planes that made up Flight 19 started the mission on December 5, 1945. The weather was clear, and an experienced flight instructor was with the team. But 90 minutes into the exercise, the pilots became disoriented and couldn’t recognize the landmarks below.Strangely a rescue plane also went missing that night while hunting for Taylor’s team.
One of the most curious things about this incident is that a pilot Taylor, asked to be excused from the day’s exercises. The Navy denied his request, and so he had to go with the unfortunate peers.
B47 Stratoget
B47 Stratoget which was carrying two nuclear weapon cores went missing in 1956.

Comair Flight 5191 (or Flight 191)
Thehorrific incident that took place in 2006 is believed to be caused by pilot error. The pilot strangely took a short runway instead of the conventional longer one that led to the disaster killing 49 people out of 50.
