PTI's Ambereen Swati leaks 'damaging' phone call of Azam Swati after ticket denial

ISLAMABAD - Ambereen Swati, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s candidate from Mansehra has levelled serious allegations against her senior party member Azam Swati, for denying her election ticket.

Ambereen was awarded the ticket for Manshera’s NA-13 constituency but later it was withdrawn owing to intra-party rifts.

Irked by the u-turn, Ambreen has released a video message and a phone call of her with Azam Swati, in which the latter can be seen talking to the lady in an authoritative tone.

In her video message, the disenchanted PTI member alleged that Azam Swati was supporting another candidate instead of the one nominated by PTI.

Ambreen has questioned the party leadership whether she was chosen a candidate in order to insult her, threatening that the phone call would be forwarded to Pakistan Ttehreek-e-Insaf chief, Imran Khan.

“Why was I awarded the ticket if the party was not going to allow me to contest the election,” she asked.

In the leaked call, Swati can be seen directing the female fellow that it was not his right to contest elections and she was awarded a party ticket tentatively, without any final approval.

On the other hand, Ambereen could be heard pleading for justice in the case, arguing that she was also a loyal member and had self-respect.
