No change made in CPEC route: Mamnoon

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - President Mamnoon Hussain has categorically stated that no change has been made in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route.

Talking to the editors of newspapers and magazines on Thursday, Mamnoon said the projects launched by the government, particularly in the field of energy, will guarantee a prosperous future to the nation. He emphasized framing media policy keeping in view the country's traditions, culture and the current situation.

Meanwhile, the newly appointed ambassadors of Iran, Sri Lanka and Cuba to Pakistan presented their credentials to President Mamnoon Hussain at a ceremony in Islamabad. The President felicitated the newly appointed ambassadors and expressed the confidence that they will play their role for strengthening of bilateral relations.

He said Pakistan desires friendly relations with all the countries particularly those in the region for peace, stability and prosperity.
