No gas supply to Punjab industry, CNG stations in winters

LAHORE (Online) - Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has worked out gas load management schedule for the winter season and forwarded to ministry of petroleum for approval.

According to SNGPL, supply of gas to domestic consumers during winter season is its top most priority. An immense shortfall of gas is recorded during winter season due to use of heaters and geysers in the homes.

It will be not possible to supply gas to the industries and CNG stations against the backdrop of this shortfall, therefore, no gas will be supplied to industries and CNGs during winter season.

The Ministry of Petroleum will accord final approval to this summary after reviewing it. More recommendations are likely to be made part of this summary.
