ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Due to lack of passengers, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has cancelled its four flights while other four flights has been delayed due to maintenance work at Islamabad airport.

According to the spokesperson of Civil Aviation, National airline has run 46 international flights and 59 domestic flights within 24 hours, however, 96% international and 58% domestic flights have been departed as usual.

However, according to the spokesperson of CAA, four flights have been cancelled due to lack of passengers, the passengers of the cancelled flights were timely informed while substitute flights have been arranged.

On the another hand, four flights have been delayed due maintenance work at Islamabad airport, due to carpeting of runway, it has been announced that Benazir International airport of Islamabad would be closed from 1pm to 5 pm till October 18 to 28.
