13 killed as car rams into passenger van in Jhelum

JHELUM - As many as 13 people were killed while over 10 others were left severely injured after a car crashed into a van near Jhelum, Punjab on Sunday.

According to rescue officials, the dead bodies and the injured were shifted to Tehsil headquarter hospital Sohawa while four of the injured were reported to be in critical condition.

Initial reports suggest that the tyre of the car has burst near Matty Khan village due to which the driver lost control and it smashed into a van.

The passengers in the  car were travelling from Rawalpindi to Jhelum.
