ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – As many as 25,896 suspected people have been arrested by law-enforcement agencies across the country under the National Action Plan (NAP), media reports said.

According to reports, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was presented the NAP implementation report by the officials of the Interior Ministry.

As many as 24 terrorists have been hanged since the premier has withdrawn the bar from death penalty implementation, the report said.

Federal and provincial law enforcement agencies have been cooperating with each other to fully eradicate the evil of militancy.

Pakistan’s top political and military leadership had reached an agreement on a 21 point agenda – National Action Plan – to speed up the fight against terrorism after the terrorists stormed Peshawar’s Army Public School killing at least 140 people, mostly children.
