During the meeting, both high ups shed light on the strategic relations between Pakistan and the UAE, besides discussing issues relating to military cooperation and regional situation, Geo News reported.

The Army Chief thanked the UAE premier for providing the humanitarian assistance to Pakistanis and sponsoring development projects accomplished in Pakistan following the directions of UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

General Bajwa also praised the development of the Gulf country in all sectors, including economy and culture. He also appreciated the country’s leadership for following balanced policies at regional and international level.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid also hailed the constructive role of Pakistanis for the development of the UAE.

The meeting was also attended by Crown Prince of Dubai Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai Maktoum bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, and the UAE’s Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Anwar Mohammed Gargash.
