The inevitable happens, BOL’s bigwigs resign in the midst of fake diploma scandal
KARACHI (Web Desk) - Kamran Khan, Azhar Abbas, Iftikhar Ahmed and other senior journalists on Saturday announced their disassociation from BOL, an upcoming media group, in the wake of the ongoing probe against its parent company, Axact.

The Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) initiated its probe following an investigative report on Axact in the New York Times which alleged that the company had minted millions by selling fake degrees.

The big names in the field of mainstream media and journalism took to the micro blogging website Twitter to announce their resignations.

Kamran Khan was Editor-in-Chief and President for Axact's media group.  




Azhar Abbas was President and CEO, for BOL’s news channel.

 

Iftikhar Ahmed was Senior Executive Vice President and Senior Anchroperson for BOL.




Asma Shirazi was Senior Anchorperson, Executive Vice President for BOL.

 


Wajahat S Khan was Senior Anchorperson, Executive Vice President of BOL.

Currency Rates in Pakistan Today - Pakistani rupee to US Dollar, Euro, Pound, Dirham, and Riyal - 19 April 2024

Pakistani currency saw minor adjustment against global currencies on April 19, 2024. US dollar was being quoted at 277.4 for buying and 280.4 for selling.

Euro comes down to 293 for buying and 296 for selling while British Pound stands at 342.25 for buying, and 345.65 for selling.

UAE Dirham AED was at 75.2 and Saudi Riyal's new rates was at 73.30.
