The army chief will meet troops and locals in Turbat and Gwadar, in the southern region of the province, according to the military’s media wing.

COAS Bajwa had visited troops deployed in Rajgal Valley on the Pak-Afghan border on the first day of Eid (Saturday).

“Eid on duty for the security of Pakistan and its people is the best festivity for us,” the COAS was quoted by ISPR Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor as telling the troops.

“Pakistan is our passion & our life; our lives are for Pakistan. Nothing/no one is above [our] country. Inshallah together we’ll make it the best country,” Bajwa added.

Earlier in the day, Gen Bajwa extended greetings to the nation on the occasion of Eidul Azha.
