Cricket team to participate in T20 WC after security clearance: PM

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Pakistan says its participation in the World T20 hinges on a clearance report by the security team.

A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Secretariat said a final decision on whether cricket team will fly to India will be made after a report is submitted by the security team.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had directed to send a security team to India in advance to report on security measures there.

He also sought a report from Pakistan Cricket Board on the poor performance of Pakistani team in Asia Cup.
