ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan on Friday responded to a request made by Maryam Nawaz, leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), for prayers after her mother’s health deteriorated in London.
The PTI chief took to Twitter and prayed for early recovery of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, who was readmitted in Harley Street Clinic after suffering a heart attack on Thursday night.
In his Twitter message, Khan wrote: “All our prayers are with Begum Kulsoom Nawaz. May Allah grant her Shifa e Kamila”.

Another leader of the PTI, Shireen Mazari, also prayed for speedy recovery of the former first lady.

Maryam Nawaz, who along with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, reached London yesterday to spend Eid holiday with her mother took to Twitter requesting prayers for Kulsoom. She confirmed that her mother suffered a sudden cardiac arrest.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif, also asked the nation for prayers.
My Bhabhi Begum Kalsoom Nawaz is being kept in ICU due to her serious condition. The whole family is praying for her recovery.
