ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Saturday ordered Ministry of Water and Power to ensure that no load shedding is carried out on the eve of Christmas Day being celebrated across the country on Sunday.

The ministry has also ordered to ensure the presence of emergency teams in the field to restore power supply at earliest in a case of any technical problem.

Heavy fog at night is a cause of concern for the authorities as it could hinder the plan of uninterrupted power supply on December 25.
