Family dispute claims five lives in Charsadda

PESHAWAR - Five persons including a woman were killed and two others injured over a family dispute in Sury Rama, Rajjar area of District Charsadda, an official of Charsadda control confirmed the incident on Sunday.

Talking to media, SHO Police Station Rajjar Ghafir Ullah Khan said that two groups exchanged firing over a family dispute in Rajjar leaving five persons, three brothers from a family and a woman and her husband from other group killed on the spot with two other received critical bullets wounds.

He said the dead people including a woman have been shifted to District Headquarter Hospital while those sustained injuries in the firing were taken to Peshawar for medical assistance.

Those killed were identified as Sabir Shah s/o Saeed, Anwar Shah s/o Saeed and Ahmad Shah s/o Saeed, Gul Rukh wife of Qalander, Qalander s/o Jalani Shah.

The injured persons including Fawad s/o Arif, Saeed Jilani Shah s/o Noor Ali Shah were shifted to Peshawar in a critical condition. He said the police have started an investigation of the incident and so far no FIR was registered.
