PM Imran expresses best wishes to Hindu community on Holi

ISLAMABAD - The Hindu community living across the country is celebrating "Holi", a colourful festivity on Wednesday with traditional enthusiasm, the Radio Pakistan reported.

In a message on the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan has felicitated Hindu community of Pakistan on the occasion of Holi.

The Prime Minister, in a tweet, expressed best wishes for the Hindu community.

Holi, the “festival of colours” is the Hindu spring festival, is being celebrated by the Hindu community in Pakistan and worldwide with traditional and religious fervour from today.

The Holi celebrations signal the end of winter and the arrival of spring, with the official festival taking place from March 20-21. Celebrators spray coloured powder and water at each other and dance as well as distribute sweets during the celebrations.
