RAWALPINDI (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif chaired a high level meeting at ISI headquarter to discuss the role of hostile foreign intelligence agencies and their collaborators in fomenting instability in the country.

According to the ISPR, in a high-level meeting at the ISI headquarters, the army chief emphasised the need for continued efforts across the country to consolidate gains of Operation Zarb-e-Azb.

ISPR head Lt. Gen Asim Bajwa said a security meeting was held at ISI headquarters, which reviewed entire internal and external threat spectrum including terrorists’ network and their links.

Bajwa said role of hostile intelligence agencies, their collaborators in fomenting instability in Pakistan and management of Pak-Afghan border including way forward came under discussion during the meeting.
