ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Monday said that Allama Muhammad Iqbal had vision of a society which is tolerant, democratic, independent and believes in hard work and quests for knowledge.

In his message on the 138th birthday of Allama Iqbal, the Prime Minister urged nation to seek guidance from the life and teachings of Pakistan’s national poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

He said the day demands that we follow in the light of his great philosophical thought. There is a need to ponder over Allama Iqbal’s great works and find a way out of all the ills afflicting the society today.
