Polish Naval chief meets CJCSC Gen Zubair Hayat, acknowledges Pak Armed Forces role against terrorism

Rawalpindi - Rear Admiral Mirsolaw MORDEL, Inspector of Polish Navy, Poland on Monday called on General Zubair Mahmood Hayat, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee at Joint Staff Headquarters, Rawalpindi.

According to ISPR, the Polish official, who is on an official visit to Pakistan, and General Zubair discussed matters of mutual interests including maritime security and defence cooperation.

Inspector of Polish Navy acknowledged sacrifices made by Pak Armed Forces in the fight against terrorism.

Earlier today, Chief of Polish Navy held a meeting with chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah in Islamabad and agreed to enhance bilateral defense cooperation to ensure security of the region.

The Polish Naval Chief highly appreciated the efforts of Pakistan Navy in maintaining collaborative security in the Indian Ocean and beyond.

Rear Admiral Miroslaw Mordel also called on Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of the Air Staff during his engagements at Islamabad.

Rupee exchange rate to US Dollar, Euro, Pound, Dirham, and Riyal - 18 April 2024

Pakistani currency continues to gain against US Dollar and other currencies on April 18, 2024. US dollar was being quoted at 277.2 for buying and 280.3 for selling.

Euro comes down to 293 for buying and 296 for selling while British Pound stands at 342.25 for buying, and 345.65 for selling.

UAE Dirham AED was at 75.25 and Saudi Riyal's new rates was at 73.30.
