PTI's show of power in Raiwind today

LAHORE (Staff Report) - As part of its ‘Accountability Movement’, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf today (Friday) will stage protest rally towards Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s residence in Raiwind against premier’s alleged corruption and accumulation of illegally attained wealth.

Venue for the march has been selected Adda Plot near Raiwind, just five kilometers from Sharif Family residence.

The Lahore High Court on Thursday allowed PTI to hold Raiwind march. The verdict was announced by LHC’s three-member bench headed by Justice Shahid Hamid Dar.

It will be a solo flight by the PTI as its allies – Pakistan People’s Party, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) – have decided not to participate in the protest march.

However, the Awami Muslim League (AML) of Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed has announced to join the march.

On Thursday, Imran Khan said that he would respond to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Raiwind march.
