ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Soon after after the announcement of PTI Chairman Imran Khan to stage a protest in front of the Election Commission on October 4, Chief Election Commissioner Justice (r) Sardar Raza Khan has summoned a meeting of top officials, local media reported.
The meeting will be held on Monday.
Meanwhile, three members of the election commission of Pakistan from Punjab, Sindh and KPK agreed to resign from their offices respectively, Geo News reported.
The chief election commissioner will preside over the meeting and deliberate on PTI’s call for the protest.
Earlier, Imran Khan launched a scathing attack on the ECP over its response to PTI’s questionnaire.
“Is it the Election Commission of Pakistan or PML-N,” Khan questioned and termed as “shameful” the response of ECP to his letter regarding observations of the judicial commission.
