NEW DELHI – Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan, who was the showstopper at Manish Malhotra’s fashion show at the recently-concluded India Couture Week in Delhi, is in the news once again after it was reported that he got drunk and misbehaved with guests at a party thrown by Malhotra.

In a report in Indian outlet DNA, an eyewitness was quoted as saying, “A few drinks down the hatchet and he was a different person, loud, boisterous aggressive …and embarrassing. Fawad began to get loud and his voice was heard from very far. His team members tried to keep his excitement down. But he was gone after a few pegs…much to the embarrassment of everyone who was witness to this uncharacteristic behavior.”

However, when Bollywood entertainment portal PinkVilla got in touch with Manish, he dispelled all the rumors about Fawad’s alleged misbehavior.

In the interview, Manish revealed how it was a pleasure to work with the Pakistani heartthrob.

“I am so overwhelmed with the phenomenal response to my couture show, The Persian Story. Deepika Padukone, Fawad Khan and the collection got an outstanding reaction and having worked with Fawad for the first time, I was extremely impressed with his professionalism and attitude. He came and practiced his walk,” Manish was quoted as saying.

The designer had earlier chosen Indian beauty Deepika Padukone and Pakistan’s Fawad as showstoppers for Indian Couture Week where both the actors managed to set the ramp on fire.
