Arshad Warsi didnt know his 'Fraud Saiyyan' co-star is a Pakistani

MUMBAI - Pakistani actor Sara Loren is all ready for her Bollywood comeback in an upcoming movie against Arshad Warsi in Fraud Saiyaan.

The movie had found itself in some legal issue due to which it was stuck for a couple of years during which the dreaded Uri attacks happened and Pakistani artistes were ban from acting in Indian films.

Now, that the movie is up for release, its lead actress Sara Loren is unable to promote the film due to the ban. Earlier, Loren had shared with English daily ‘Mid-Day’, “I wish I could join my team members in India at this moment. Sitting on a sofa, having coffee and watching my [film’s] song on repeat is wonderful. I will hopefully join my team before the film releases."

Recently Arshad had a chit chat with 'Zoom Tv' officials during which he was being asked about his co-star's wish to come to India to promote their movie.

Arshad replied that while shooting he was unaware about the country she belonged to.

"I don't even know that she was a Pakistani. That's the sad part (laughs). I always thought she was from Muscat or somewhere like that. "

Warsi further added, "She is a fraud! (laughs). I always thought that she was from Muscat because I think I asked her once, she told me she was from somewhere there. So, I was like, "Oh, okay". So, I didn't even know that. I hope it (her Indian visa) happens before the 18th (Fraud Saiyaan's release date). Because if she gets a visa for the 19th, it's pointless (laughs)," he stated.
