Bollywood actress Vidya Balan discharged from hospital

MUMBAI (Web Desk) – Indian actress Vidya Balan says she is grateful to be back home from hospital in time to celebrate her 37th birthday with her family.

The Kahaani actress was admitted on December 29 at a hospital in Mumbai for a suspected kidney stone.

“Grateful to be back home in time to bring in my birthday ... Thank You for all your love, prayers and wishes. Happy 2016 to each of you,” the actor posted on Twitter.

Vidya and her producer husband, Siddharth Roy Kapur, had planned to ring in New Year and Balan’s birthday abroad. But they cancelled the plan after her illness.
