Deepika Padukone body shamed, social media fires rounds at actress for controversial photoshoot

Following the much-renowned meeting with Modi where Bollywood's Desi Girl Priyanka Chopra was shamed for showing of 'too much skin', a new era of public outrage has dawned against highly acclaimed actress Deepika Padukone who became the latest victim of body shaming after her decision to take to her Instagram in a white two-piece attire.

The Bajirao Mastani star and xXx: Return of Xander Cage actress did a recent photoshoot for Maxin Magazine, the picture of which she shared on her social media pages.

Seconds after she uploaded the picture on Instagram, negative comments and hate started pouring in, with a callous number of posts targeting her dark complexion and body.

A user commented: "What is she wearing? Looks like diapers."

Another user commented, "Posing in undies, wts the point."

While some of Deepika's fans compared her pose and outfit to Kendall Jenner, someone responded with a troll, "Kendall na ban."
