First poster of Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Manto unveiled at Cannes
CANNES - The first look of one the most anticipated films 'Manto' was finally unveiled at 70th Cannes Film Festival and we just can't get over it.

The poster shows Nawazzuddin Siddiqui bearing an intense look, which was a compulsory element for Saadat Hasan Manto, along with a stroke of blood running across it.

Director Nandita Das shared the first poster for her upcoming movie on Facebook.

“If you cannot bear these stories, it is because we live in unbearable times” - Saadat Hasan Manto

The talented actor-turned -director also shared some behind the scene stills too with the poster. Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of protagonist and Rasika Duggal plays the role of Manto's wife named Safiya.

'Manto' is based on Saadat Hasan Manto, who is known as one of the greatest writers of short stories in South Asian history.
