LAHORE – Pakistan’s biggest and much-anticipated family festival, Masala Family Festival 2017 Lahore organized by Pakistan’s premier entertainment network, HUM Network Limited culminated with thunderous applause by the audiences. With a goal to provide a safe and fun day-out for families, the Masala Family Festival invited all families to enjoy fun and festivities including musical performances, magic and comedy segments, live cooking demonstrations, dance and singing competitions and a chance to meet with their favourite celebrity chefs, with a thrilling mix of all. The two-day Festival held at Expo Centre, Lahore, on November 4 and 5 attracted a huge number of visitors from all corners of the city and provided families with an opportunity to plan a perfect day out.
The audiences were enthralled by the live cooking demonstrations by all the Masala chefs at different times during the two-day festival, as it gave them a chance to interact with their favourite chefs.
The highlight of this two-day event was the entrance of Pakistan’s sweetheart Mahira Khan along with Haroon Shahid, her male lead from upcoming movie Verna. Verna is written and directed by the legendary Shoaib Mansoor who has previously given us movies like Khuda Ke Liye and Bol.
The other highlight of Masala Family Festival 2017, Lahore, was the kids’ arena, providing entertainment to kids of all ages. The huge and beautifully set-up arena had wide-ranging fun options, from jumping castles to floating ship and a pet show to keep them occupied.
Visitors also had a field day shopping as all major FMCG companies were part of the event, selling everything from household appliances, food items, crockery and jewellery. To satiate the appetites of the visitors, the organisers had arranged food and drinks stalls as well, offering family-friendly food throughout the day at various dining locations. The festival concluded on a high note with performances by Asim Azhar and Jal the Band who performed to audience requests and received appreciation from the cheering crowd.
