CHENNAI – Indian actor Kamal Hassan who turn 63 today (Tuesday), launched a mobile application to connect with his fans on his birhtday.
Yesterday, the actor held back on the details of when he would launch his own party but said the application would be the first step in his political journey.
“This will be the first step. I’m confident that you will contribute funds to me generously as you have in the past for our welfare activities,”
The mobile app will track all financial transactions.
The actor has recently pledged to send about five lakh of his volunteers and supporters for the refurbishment of water bodies in the wake of the torrential downpour and resultant waterlogging in parts of the state including Chennai.
The national award-winning actor, who has decided not to celebrate his birthday today, visited a medical camp set up by his Narpani Iyakkam (welfare movement) at Avadi, 20 km from Chennai city.
