Madhuri Dixit fills in for Sridevi in Karan Johar's film

MUMBAI - Madhuri Dixit is filling in for (late) Sridevi's roe in Karan Johar's next production,  to be directed by Abhishek Varman.

Janhvi Kappor (Sridevi's daughter) posted the news on her Instagram handle, announcing Madhuri Dixit to be filling in for the role made to be played by Sridevi previously.

The post was captioned: "Abhishek Varman's next film was very close to mom's heart ...Dad, Khushi and I are thankful to Madhuriji for now being a part of this beautiful film."

Karan Johar too posted a few updates regarding the film including Madhuri Dixit being on board with the film and the film not being titled 'Shidhat'.
