Mawra Hocane who recently appeared alongside sister Urwa on Yasir Hussain's chat show is not at all pleased with a case of bad editing from the show's producers that showed the two sisters laughing along with a distasteful Atif Aslam joke.
Fans have criticized the show and the Hocane sisters for the act, however Mawra has issued a statement that says otherwise.

During the show Yasir asked the two a question and equated Atif Aslam to a goat that lives in between India and Pakistan's borders. The show's clips show the two sisters laughing at the joke which has upset fans.
On Friday, Mawra took to Instagram to clarify the entire scenario when she said that their laughter had been edited from another question Yasir had posed.

“Atif Aslam is the country’s pride & there’s nothing cool or funny about cracking a joke at him,” Mawra said.
In a statement to Something Haute, the actress said, “It’s disappointing that they’d misguide the audience like this. Atif is an icon and I have always looked up to him."
