Mourning Mina stampede: Coke Studio postpones last episode of season 8

LAHORE (Staff Report) - Pakistan's popular music show Coke Studio has postponed the last episode of its season 8 in wake of tragic stampede in Mina that claimed lives of more than 700 Haj pilgrims.

According to a statement on Coke Studio Twitter account the last episode will be released on October 3.

The episode will be aired on TV channels on October 4.

Due to the tragic incident in Mina during Hajj, the last episode of #CokeStudio8 will now be live on digital on 3rd Oct and TV on 4th Oct.

The statement said "Due to the tragic incident in Mina during Hajj, we will not be releasing the last episode of Coke Studio Season 8 this week. The episode will now be live on digital on 3rd October and aired across television channels on 4th October."

Earlier in the respect of those who lost their lives in Makkah crane collapse tragedy the Coke Studio had delayed the online release of an episode for one day.
