Saba Qamar's 'Baaghi' teaser is OUT! Saba easily takes on Qandeel Baloch's role

In just 14 seconds, Saba Qamar has done justice to capturing the true essence of social media sensation Qandeel Baloch.

Baaghi, Urdu 1's upcoming and much-anticipated drama on Qandeel's life, has become the talk of the town ever since there has been news circulating about it. This goes along with the very fact that the talented Saba Qamar is essaying the lead role, and the teaser is clear cut proof of her acting prowess!

Saba Qamar starts off by saying, "None of it bothers me at all," and ends with her calling everyone a liar, a powerful message and apt description of the prevalent hypocrisy in our society.

The 14-second teaser is representative of Qandeel's life and her treatment at home by her father and brothers.

In an interview earlier with Images, Saba said, "Qandeel represented the double standards that exist in our society. She had the courage to expose how two-faced people could be."

The leading actress is determined to play the role, irrespective of the threats that could follow. "Let them follow," shrugs Saba. "Everyone has to die someday. I’d rather die after doing something worthwhile."

The drama's star-studded cast also includes Sarmad Khoosat, Osman Khalid Butt, and Ali Kazmi.
