'Being Smart': Salman Khan to launch his very OWN brand of smartphones
Amidst all business ventures and endeavors where he started off as an entrepreneur under the leading brand name Being Human, Salman Khan has now decided to branch out by launching a series of smartphones.

Toying with the idea for the past couple of years, the Dabangg Khan has now decided to invest in this new business project that has been reportedly been titled Being Smart.

According to recent claims, Khan will also hold a majority of shares in the company. He is currently on his search for potential investors with leading industry experts welcoming his new venture, though with a bit of caution.

"We have just started our entry into the category, we need to be careful. If people buy our products and like it, we will see. We are starting the smartphones in small numbers and we hope to have minimum losses and maximum gain," Khan was quoted as saying in an interview.

"Salman’s fan club will definitely give it a leg up but, in the long run, the brand needs to differentiate itself to stand out in the crowd," said Krishna Mukherjee, CyberMedia Research Analyst.

The actor is currently taking out the time to build the operational management team for Being Smart products. The smartphones in question will be launched along the likes of Chinese brands like Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi etc and will be made available to the target middle-class audience at a price range between Rs. 8,000 - 20,000.

Just like his charitable apparel and accessories line Being Human, a major chunk of Khan's profits earned through his smartphone brand will be donated to the foundation that works for the development of underprivileged children.

From what we hear, Salman Khan is invested into the project by all means and is planning to launch the latest series of smartphones by the end of this year before the start of the festive season.

'Being Smart' products will be available at Being Human stores including other renowned mobile chains and electronic retail outlets.
