‘So sweet’: Sunny Leone shares a lovely bond with Mahira Khan
MUMBAI - Indian actress Sunny Leone is once again all praise for Pakistan’s Mahira Khan, saying she is ‘so sweet’.
It seems the porn star-turned actress, who starred in an item song in SRK starrer ‘Raees’, shares a special bond with Mahira Khan.
Her comments came in response to Mahira saying the Bollywood actor is “lovely and beautiful.”
Mahira, who joined the Raees team via video conference for the film’s success media interaction, said, “I love Sunny Leone’s Baby Doll. I actually met her at an airport. We hung out and spoke to each other. She is lovely and beautiful. I don’t think she would ever look as amazing as she does in Laila main Laila.”
In response to this, Sunny tweeted, “Yes, I remember meeting her at the airport. She is so sweet and I’m so happy for her.”
Earlier, Sunny had revealed that although Mahira could not join Raees success party, the team spoke to her on FaceTime. “We all said hi to her on FaceTime tonight. She was amazing in the film and is such a nice girl,” Sunny said.
Mahira Khan is playing the role of SRK’s love interest in the Rahul Dholakia directorial which marks her Bollywood debut while King Khan is playing the role of a Gujarati bootlegger, Raees Alam. The film also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The release of Raees, which was scheduled to hit Pakistani cinemas on Sunday, has been banned for its inappropriate portrayal of Muslims.
The movie which also became the centre of controversy in India after relations deteriorated between the two countries in late 2016, has reportedly run into trouble with the Pakistani censor board for depicting Shah Rukh Khan as a Muslim gangster involved in crimes and immoral activities.
