STOCKHOLM: Swedish legendary disco quartet ABBA has announced that they have reunited to record two new songs on Friday. The popular 70's disco group who took the world by storm with their unforgettable hits will be getting back together after a whopping 35 years!
The group said in a joint statement although they once said they would never reunite, “We all felt that, after 35 years, it could be fun to join forces again and go into the recording studio. So we did."

According to a report by TT news agency, the band's manager, Gorel Hanser said the two songs, 'Don't Shut Me Down' and 'I Still Have Faith In You' were recorded last summer.
Before the band split up in 1982, they gave the world everlasting hits such as 'Super Trouper', 'Mamma Mia' and 'Dancing Queen', “It was like time had stood still and that we only had been away on a short holiday. An extremely joyful experience!" said members Agnetha Faltskog, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Benny Andersson.
The group, who have sold more than 400 million albums collectively will not be singing the songs live, but will be replaced by computerized avatars in a TV special initiated by the BBC and NBC in December.
According to the group’s manager Gorel Hanser, nothing had changed, “It was the same wonderful chemistry. It was as if time had stood still. Everyone got into their role and sang, and sang and sang.”
