Temporary ban: No Bollywood movies to be shown this Eid
LAHORE- Eid is a time of the year when people rush to cinemas to watch the latest movies and getting entertained. Unfortunately, there will be no Indian movie display in Pakistan this Eid, as the Ministry of Information has banned the screening of Indian movies in Pakistan cinemas during the period around Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha.
A notification has been published by the Ministry of Information, stating that "No Indian films will be exhibited during the period around Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha."
The ban will be in place two days before Eid and will continue for two weeks after Eid. The ban may increase the viewers of Pakistani movies and it will help to promote the film industry.
