Thailand and India set to start road trips for tourists

LAHORE - Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) are in talks with India's government to facilitate caravan travel for Indian tourists to the Southeast Asian country.

The travel route is to be the Trilateral Highway and the road that will connect Moreh in Manipur with Mae Sot in Thailand and is currently under construction.

The highway is said to be 1,360-km-long and is expected to be ready by 2020.
