NEW DEHLI (Web Desk) - Marriage season has just struck the cricket arena. While Harbhajan Singh tied the knot with Geeta Basra on October 29, right hand batsman Rohit Sharma also announced his wedding date (December 13) with fiancé Ritika Sajdeh, India TV reported.

Now, stylish cricketer Virat Kohli is all set to enter the nuptial bond with girlfriend actress Anushka Sharma. Yes! The most adorable cricketer-actress couple is marrying next year on January 23.

No, we are not saying it but a wedding card which has been doing rounds on the social media. The invitation card states that the Virat-Anushka’s will marry on 23rd January 2016 at Taj Hotel in Mumbai.

It was posted on Facebook by a person named Kibby Boy but hastily removed later. Interestingly, the user is seen with Virat Kohli in his profile picture on FB.

However, there is no proof on the authenticity of wedding card. If we look at the card very closely, many errors can be spotted. The date is mentioned as ‘23th’ January whereas it should be ‘23rd’ January. Also the names of Virat and Anushka's parents have been mentioned wrong.

Seeing the flaws, it can be said that this wedding card is ‘fake’. It looks like a prank endeavour by some enthusiastic fan/s.


A few days back, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were spotted shopping for a new apartment, which fuelled the speculations about them getting married very soon.

However, Anushka Sharma cleared the rumours surrounding her wedding and asked her followers and fans to wait for her to announce the dates of her marriage.



For now, this ‘fake’ wedding card has created waves among the fans, but it would be interesting to see when the couple will actually tie the knot.
