#WhyIDidntReport: Celebs open up on reasons behind silence over sexual assault cases

LAHORE -  Sexual assault is an act in which a person sexually touches another person without that person's consent, or coerces or physically forces a person to engage in a sexual act against their will. With the advancement in technology and easy access to connectivity, people are quicker in sharing their life happenings, stories, and happiness with the others.

In recent time a movement #metoo started all over the world to raise voice against sexual harassment. Many celebrities also reacted to this matter and shared their personal experiences with the world.

In the United States of America, The  Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh was accused of sexual misconduct by former classmate Dr. Christine Blasey Ford earlier this month after which the US President Donald Trump downplayed the charge against the judge by demanding to see the report that was filed to the authorities after the alleged assault occurred.

The president stated that if the woman claims it to be true, then she should have reported it earlier in a tweet.
