10th grade student sexually assaulted in Kasur

LAHORE - A 10th-grade student was allegedly raped in Kasur’s Pattoki City of the Punjab province on Thursday.

According to the police, the ten-year-old victim’s mother, a resident of Tabba Chak-1/K, lodged a complaint at the police station, stating that her daughter was a 10th-grade student at a local school, adding that on the day of the incident, her daughter left home for school but did not return.

The mother maintained that she went to the school to find her daughter where she learnt that suspect Waqas Rasheed abducted the minor student and took her to an unknown location in a vehicle.

She claimed that her daughter was raped and dumped in an unconscious state by the accused, demanding the police to arrest the suspect and punish him strictly for committing such a brutal act.

Meanwhile, the police have registered a case and arrested the accused for further investigations.
