ISLAMABAD (Online) – Some 122 schools and colleges in the federal capital have been named after the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.

Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Secretary Khalid Hanif said that names of 122 schools and colleges in Islamabad have been changed and notification to this effect has been issued.

Earlier this month, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif approved the summary to name 122 government schools and colleges after the names of APS martyrs.

109 schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) have already been named after the martyrs of Army Public School (APS) Peshawar.
