PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – At least 30 terrorists were killed and several others were injured in military air strikes in Shawal Valley of North Waziristan Agency.

According to official sources, the strikes were carried out in the Datta Khel tehsil of North Waziristan, destroying at least six terrorists’ hideouts.

North Waziristan Agency is among Pakistan’s seven semi-autonomous tribal districts near the Afghan border, rife with local and foreign militants including Al Qaeda and the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Military operations Zarb-e-Azb and the National Action Plan were launched against insurgents in the aftermath of terrorists’ attack on Peshawar’s Army Public School in 2014.
