DERA GHAZI KHAN – Eight terrorists were killed in an encounter with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and other law enforcement agencies in Punjab’s Dera Ghazi Khan district on Thursday.

According to media reports, the joint operation took place Thursday night near Sakhi Sarwar road area of District.

The CTD recovered several rounds of bullets, klashnikovs, hand grenades and suicide jackets from their custody.

The deceased terrorists were identified as Khurram, Abdul Hakeem, Abdul Jabbar, Shoukat, Latif, Bilal, Iftikhar and Rasheed.

After the encounter, the security personnel continued their search operation late into the night for the search of three accomplices who had managed to escape.
