Action against 703 blacklisted madrassas likely in FATA

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) - Following the directives of the federal government, the Frontier Rangers have decided to take action against unregistered madrassas in the tribal areas.

As part of the implementation for the National Action Plan (NAP), 703 madrassas in the FATA have been blacklisted in which 50,000 students including 18,000 women are getting education.

Out of the 703 unregistered madrassas, more than 292 are located in North Waziristan and 204 in South Waziristan.
