In Khawaja's footsteps: Abid Sher Ali also uses 'disgraceful' language against Shireen Mazari
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Following the derogatory remarks of Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has also used disgraceful language for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf lawmaker Shireen Mazari.

In a post on social media network Twitter, Ali said "Shireen Mazari alias tractor trolley is a child of a kind that always wants attention for fame."

Earlier, Khawaja Asif had issued a written apology to Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq, regretting his conduct during Wednesday's session. However, the opposition rejected his apology because it did not directly name Mazari. They also demanded that Asif apologize to Mazari directly in front of the House.

The opposition later staged a walkout from the Lower House in protest.
