LAHORE – Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in the city Wednesday from Dubai to take part in the party’s foundation day celebrations.

Bilawal reached Allama Iqbal International Airport on a private flight EK-622 amid tight security arrangements.

PPP Punjab president Qamar Zaman Kaira, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, and Nadeem Afzal Chan received the party chairperson. A large number of PPP workers were also present there.

Reaching Bahria Town, Bilawal said the doors to Bilawal House are open to all and requested his party workers to join in the making of a ‘new’ PPP. The PPP co-chairman welcomed his party workers with various lavish dishes ahead of the celebrations.

The party will start its week-long 49th foundation day celebrations in Lahore, PPP’s birthplace, where Bilawal Bhutto will address various rallies throughout the week.

PPP leaders and workers are flocking to Lahore to participate in the celebrations.
